This meditation invites us to pause and sense the quiet center that is at the heart of awareness.

Introduction

00:00 / 07:49

Meditation

00:00 / 20:51

By resting in stillness and spaciousness, we explore how awareness naturally opens when we stop trying to manage our experience and allow ourselves to simply be here.

🌌

May we remember the quiet that holds us.
May stillness reveal what does not need effort.
May spaciousness allow life to unfold.

Meditation of the Week

Every Saturday, Myndtree offers a free guided meditation by Gayathri as a space to pause, breathe, and return to stillness. Each offering includes a brief introduction followed by a 15 to 20 minute guided practice exploring a specific theme, and remains available through the following Friday. These recordings are drawn from Myndtree’s online community groups, inviting you to begin your weekend with quiet reflection or return to the practice whenever you need a moment of steadiness and care. To see how these weekly reflections fit into the larger landscape of our work, visit our Mindfulness Meditation Guide.

If you find these meditations supportive, you are warmly invited to register for our next community meditation series and practice together in shared live sessions. Practitioners of all experience levels are welcome.

1. What is Myndtree’s Meditation of the Week and how does it work? Every Saturday, Myndtree shares a free guided meditation by Gayathri as an invitation to pause and return to stillness. Each offering includes a brief introduction and a 15 to 20 minute guided practice exploring a specific theme, and it remains available through the following Friday. You can find the current recording via the weekly email, on the Myndtree website, or through select social channels. This weekly meditation offers a simple, steady rhythm of reflection and practice.

2. Do I need meditation experience to benefit from these weekly meditations? No prior meditation experience is needed. These guided practices are designed to support everyone, from those new to meditation to experienced practitioners. Gayathri’s clear and gentle guidance helps you settle into the practice, whether you are learning the basics or deepening an existing relationship with meditation.

3. What makes Myndtree’s meditations unique? Myndtree’s meditations combine Gayathri’s decades of contemplative study & practice with her warm, accessible teaching style. Each week explores timeless wisdom through contemporary language, helping ancient practices feel relevant to modern life. The optional teaching segments offer depth beyond a typical guided meditation, while the practices themselves create space for genuine stillness and insight.

4. How is the Meditation of the Week different from Myndtree’s other meditation offerings? Meditation of the Week is Myndtree’s free weekly email offering, created as an easy entry point into guided meditation with no commitment required. Unlike Community Meditation groups, which meet live, or A Daily Dose of Peace, which is a subscription-based library, this meditation arrives once a week and can be practiced at your own pace. It offers a simple way to experience Gayathri’s teaching style and explore whether this form of practice resonates with you.

5. What topics do the weekly meditations cover, and how long are they? Weekly meditations explore universal themes such as compassion, presence, letting go, inner peace, and working with difficult emotions. Each offering includes an optional 8 to 10 minute teaching that provides context and reflection, followed by a 15 to 20 minute guided meditation. While inspired by contemplative wisdom traditions, all teachings are presented in accessible, non-religious language to support greater awareness and calm in everyday life.
