6-Week Introduction to Mindfulness Series for Tweens
(Ages 9-13 yrs)

The time between young childhood and the teen years can be challenging. It is a time of significant physical and emotional change. Children in these years are discovering themselves and their place in the world. Mindfulness practices help them develop self-awareness, strengthen their capacity for self-regulation and reduce anxiety and stress, so they can feel confident and more fully themselves.


In this 6-week series, rani and Gayathri will share mindfulness and movement practices in a fun and engaging way with our tween participants. The classes will include yoga and movement, guided meditations, group activities, and time for reflection and sharing.

Topics will include mindful listening, mindfulness of breath, body, thoughts and emotions, and loving-kindness practices. 


We will offer a safe and supportive environment for the children to explore these practices and share what's on their hearts and minds. 

Dates: Nov. 3, 10, 17, Dec. 1, 8, 15 2022 (Thursdays)
Time: 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Pacific Time)
Fee: $150 per participant; $125 for additional siblings

Location: Home in Palo Alto (address provided upon registration)
